The SR (Shaft Reversing) gearbox may be
mounted on either side of all Candy Differential
units. Standard DIFF units have counter-rotating
shafts. The addition of an SR gearbox allows
for same direction shaft rotation between
the input and output.
Both 1:1 and 2:1 gear ratios
are available for the SR box. Since either
side of the DIFF may be used as the input,
the 2:1 ratio box may be designed as a speed
reducer or speed increaser.
